Our incumbent Mayor has been significantly redesigned for its next campaign. The best value in the category just got better. Rear stays have been massively beefed-up using a new Titanium Custom Yoke design with an engraved RSD logo to increase lateral rigidity and handle the loads that you’ll be applying in a full term of fat fun.
But with the same proven build as the V4, bolstered by RaceFace Cinch cranks and direct-mount 28T ring, and Mulefut 80mm wheels, all rolling on massive Maxxis Minion 4.8” tires, we don’t think there’s anything you’ll need to change on the V5 to make one successful run after another.
Changes include:
Slacker head angle – 67 degrees
Steeper seat tube angle – 74 degrees
Sliding drop-outs and new V5 chainstay lengths of 435mm-450mm as well as shorter head tubes.
Greater reach (on all sizes), and shorter and unique head tube lengths for each size, too
Internal dropper-post cable routing
