BIG CHIEF V2 Chromoly

The Big Chief is the new head of the 29er tribe in the RSD line. We took the proven design of the previous generation – progressive geometry, short chainstays, custom-blended 4130 steel frame, and sliding dropouts – and gave it a slight facelift, with high-quality finish and paint to match.

This plus-sized trickster still converts easily back to its 29er form, but it rolls proudly on stout 50mm Duroc rims and 2.6″ Schwalbe tires, with a reliable mix of great parts from SRAM, Easton and RaceFace.

Big Chief 29+ is for your modern “ride of passage” – its 110mm Boost fork and compliant steel frame will let you roll briskly and smoothly over your native trails.
